Bufete Escobar & Asociados was established in 1969 in Guatemala City as a law and notarial firm dedicated to providing comprehensive legal services. With more than fifty years of experience, we have become a recognized firm in Guatemala, distinguished by our expertise across multiple areas of law and our steadfast commitment to professional excellence.

Since our founding, we have assisted clients in resolving complex legal matters, continually adapting to changes in the legal and economic landscape. With the rise of globalization and the expansion of the banking and financial sectors, our firm broadened its practice to meet the growing demand for services in Banking Law, Financial Products, Commercial Law, and Administrative and Technical Consulting.

Our Founder
Mr. Jorge Escobar Feltrin founded Escobar & Associates in 1969 with the firm conviction that the practice of law should always be accompanied by ethics, human commitment, and social responsibility. A graduate of Rafael Landívar University with a degree in law and notary public, he has complemented his training with specializations in various areas of law, standing out as a founding member of the Guatemalan Institute of Notarial and Registry Law and a member of the Inter-American Bar Association.
Beyond his solid professional career, those who know him highlight his closeness to people, his passion for justice, and the strategic vision with which he drives each project forward. For him, each case represents not only a legal challenge but also an opportunity to provide solutions that generate trust and make a positive difference in the lives of his clients and in the development of the country.
